Beauty World Monthly's spotlight for March 2013 is on designer Andrea Howell of Tidal Cool Creations.  Andrea began sewing at a very young age, growing up around her grandmother's sewing shop. She designed her own clothing for many years, until last year when she decided to take her talents seriously and quit a career in restaurant management to launch her own line of clothing. Since May, Andrea has been a part of Cleveland Fashion Week, Michigan Fashion Week, Pittsburgh Fashion Week, and done several other shows, including one in New York City. Andrea designs full collections, all of which include a range of designs for the real woman. Her designs are edgy, but wearable, and in each collection you will see looks for every stop in a woman's life, from the beach, to the office, to the red carpet. Andrea draws inspiration from all over the world, her spring/summer line for 2013, for example, was drawn from the beautiful wax block print fabrics she found in the markets in South Africa.

On a more personal side, Andrea owns several large snakes, she has kayaked all over the world, including a 7-day solo trip in the Everglades, she has been scuba diving with sharks, cage diving with great whites, and has been vegan for almost 20 years.
